Shammah Nicholls Managing Partner Joe Shammah has been accepted onto the exclusive CEDR Solve Direct panel, along with recent distinguished appointments including:
- former Lord Chief Justice, Lord Woolf;
- former Court of Appeal Judge, Sir Henry Brooke; and
- London Managing Partner of Clifford Chance, Jeremy Sandelson.
Members of the CEDR Solve Direct panel represent some of the most senior figures in dispute resolution, and comprise a select group of around 50 mediators who are booked directly through CEDR. The members of this group are also members of the 135-strong CEDR Solve Select panel that are put forward when clients seek recommendations.
The not-for-profit Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution launched CEDR Solve Direct at the end of 2007 for clients who know the mediator they want and do not require the mediator nominations service.
Joe was accredited by CEDR in November 2005 and was appointed to the CEDR Solve Mediator Panel in August 2006. Joe has been described as thorough, calm, patient, flexible, well-prepared, looking to build rapport, non-judgemental, resilient and tenacious. Of the extensive praise directed towards Joe he has been variously described as "a very capable and experienced Legal Practitioner”, “tactically aware” and “dedicated to the cause of settlement”. |
